The moment you outgrow 32 vCPU
It almost never announces itself. Nobody wakes up needing 64 virtual CPUs. What happens instead is quieter and more annoying: a deploy goes out and briefly runs the old and new instances side by side, and the new ones cannot start. A nightly analytics job now overlaps with the morning traffic ramp. A second client environment gets stood up and suddenly the CI pipeline is waiting in line behind it.

High request-per-minute throughput on AI services. If you are shipping an AI feature to actual users, this is the tier where rate limits stop being the bottleneck.
How to size this properly
Do not guess, and do not buy up “just in case” — that instinct costs people real money every week.
- List everything that runs concurrently. Production, staging, CI, workers, cron jobs, batch processing.
- Sum the peaks, not the averages. Averages conceal exactly the moment that breaks you.
- Add about thirty percent of headroom. Rolling deployments briefly double part of your footprint; this is the classic way to hit a ceiling you thought you had cleared.
- Round up to the next real tier.

Is 64 vCPU the same as 64 servers?
No. It is the total virtual CPU count you may run simultaneously. That could be one large instance, eight medium ones, or thirty small ones — the arithmetic is what matters, not the instance count.
Does the quota apply everywhere?
No — and this catches out more customers than anything else on this page. Service quotas are granted per region. Confirm your region with us before ordering.
Can I upgrade later?
You can buy a larger account at any time, and we will help you plan the migration. We do not, however, pretend that resizing an existing account’s quota is instant or guaranteed — it goes back into the same approval queue you bought this account to avoid.
